She needs to be back handed!

Watch this video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2laZJbLnfeo&feature=player_embedded This girl is an idiot and for her to publicize her beating up her horse at least 3 seconds way too LATE is disgusting!! If the horse bucks you need to find out WHY!!!! And that wasn't even a bad buck, the girl is so dumb... Supposedly she has had a trainer come out and try to "Fix" it. All I know is the only fix that horse needs is a new home. I would come un glued if one of my students pulled this crap!!!

And than we wonder why there are sooooooo many screwed up horses. It's because of these jackasses. Can we just send them to the Island of Idiots, and give these horses a shot at NOT being screwed up? Girl needs that horse seized, blantant abuse, and than posting it online! Oh well at least they expose themselves and than we know who NOT to go to for advice, training, etc.

As a haffie owner I hate to see them being hurt. My mare hates schooling and also bucks like that but hitting them is never the answer. Haflingers are smart ponies and you have to give them a reason for doing something. If you hit them every time they school, they soon learn schooling is not fun.

Never have I seen someone scold a horse so late after the horse has been naughty... And the way she sort of smiles as though she's enjoying beating on her pony...

I have a youtube group for people like this. Its called "Fools on Horses". She's another to add to my ever growing group of bad videos.

ugh i hate how she is smiling as she is grabbing the whip too. totally sick

Well that was pretty funny. She not only can't ride, she can't even hang onto the horse she thinks she is reprimanding.

Not only THAT, if I were that horse, I'd have wanted her off as well.

Smart horse, resourceful and knows it's in charge of her for the moment.

Pale - I *heart* halflingers as well.

On a large scale, this pisses me off for what it does to horses and at the people that raise children with no empathy or insight.

What a spoiled brat.

I think I'd react the same way (if I was the horse that is!)

What a itty bitty bronc to even fall off over. Idk it doesn't even look like it would have been that hard to stay on...of couse they can always catch us off guard. (ie yesterday the horse I was riding went from a pretty fast trot to dead halt and I tumbled off. My fault though...and no one chased her with a whip afterwards.

The Haffie is right to want her of their back. I'd do it too and gang stomp her into the ground.

I hate her smile when she takes the crop.

I can't believe that she actually came off from a half-hearted buck. What andiot!

It figures that she took a crop to him... she already proved she was an idiot.

What I don't understand is why in her other videos, after every buck, she almost always brings her horse back to a walk.

No wonder he bucks! He's got this whole thing figured out! "Well since she can't ride, every time I buck, I get to stop working!"

Common sense is really all it is.

She fell off from that? That was nothing. Someone should take the crop and whack her a couple of times. Maybe she'll improve her riding skills.

What a dope.

Yeah, that's a real professional bit of riding there.
That pony needs a carrot.
She's diggin' her spurs into him, hammerinbg his back, and when he puts her off, gently, she attacks him?? My gawd..

(spits)
disgusting.
We got another candidate for the twelve-month no-stirrup-plan, TrexxXX.
Maybe she should start with a stuffed horsie, first.
You KNOW who I mean.
I'd bring him out of retirement!

Everyone covered about exactly what I was going to say. Heels up, spurs sucked into him, bouncy butt and jiggly hands, He's pretty much trained to hop his hiney. Barely a buck out of him, and, yeah, she was more like 20 seconds late on the whack which does no good once your on the ground anyway.

The only good thing I can say is that it wasn't too much of a beating, unnecessary, definitely, but I've seen way worse

The look in the horse's eye said it all.... "I know you're going to whack me, but damn it is worth it, brat!"

I saw that video on bad_riding.
Everyone there said about the same thing. WTF? Why does she SMILE when she is grabbing the crop? er, WHY did she come off of that to begin with?
If that was my horse, I would hope that I wouldn't have come off and that we would have just ridden through it.
At least she landed on her freaking feet, but maybe she finds it cool to be the hard ass horse beater. Blah. Poor little cute horse. Glad he ran away. From now on, he will be boss.

I also saw this on bad riding. Pfft, that was the laziest damn buck I have ever seen. How do you fall off of that? Seriously? Dumb ass. And then beat the horse about 10 minutes too late. Real effective. I will admit to having lost my temper with my horses, but I'm never grinning about it. I get the impression that this girl's trainer told her this is how she needs to deal with the problem.

I agree, get some (decent) professional help, find out why your horse bucks. I recently found out my mare was bucking because of the way I sat when I asked her to canter. Corrected, and *gasp* bucking problem is GONE. I only wish I hasn't taken so long to get the help.

And BTW, she only bucked me off once, on about the 5th buck of a hard bucking canter. And when I laid on the ground an lameted my sore ass (and pride) I didn't beat her, just got back on and worked her as soon as I could move *lol*.

I love Bert, and I want him. If only Licorice's bucks were this lazy...

I think they should put down the video camera and take some more lessons!Shameful to be unseated by such a little hump buck. Her instructor should have taken that stick to her. The end of the video says that they really love each other. Yea, I could see that love connection between them - not. What kind of idiot would post a video of themselves beating their horse on Utube?

horspoor said...

So, not only does she get bucked off, punishes the horse for her poor riding, she then fails in her punishment and has succeeded in teaching him he can just leave if he doesn't like what's she doing. Brilliant.

I think she's really lucky I'm not her instructor. Well, I probably wouldn't be her instructor after that demonstation.

"Never have I seen someone scold a horse so late after the horse has been naughty..." i've actually seen worse...sadly...
a woman (yes i know her =/) was riding her horse (a four year old gelding who hadn't been out in a WEEK) to a public arena and he let out ONE LITTLE CROW HOP...she got off, walked him the rest of the way, then turned him out.
normal, right? get the bucks out so you don't get hurt?
but then she started running after him, yelling, swinging the bridle at him....
FIVE MINUTES later, the poor baby was dripping with sweat.
She went over to catch him, wrapped the reins around his neck, and HIT him in the FACE with the bridle.
I was in complete shock and couldn't even say anything...
god i hate people.

What a brat. That grin. I clicked another of her videos and there she is bareback, being bucked all over the ring. Bert definitely doesn't deserve this.

Yet another rank amateur in way over her head on a green animal. UGH!
I knew a gal like that years ago, on one occasion (which I unfortunately wasn't present for) she scarred her horse so badly that he wheeled around and kicked her with both his back hooves. I found her later that day in the barn all curled up in a chair. When I heard what had happened, I admit, I snickered...
